I love your web site. However, one thing has been bugging me for ages. There is a misquote in there. .....
Anyway, terrific web page! Keep up the good work. And the pictures are so good. I'm jealous, wish my photo album had some of those. (With me in them of course!!!)
Just stumbled across your Michael Moriarty home page. For those of us who just can't get enough of him on Law and Order this gives us an extra dose of the old "I don't like your tone, sir".
By the way, I vaguely recall MM playing a hockey player in some old
movie. Am I off base or do you know what I'm talking about. [That would be Deadliest Season - dw]
Love your site.
Love your site on Michael. I am a big fan of his and have been for several years. I've had the pleasure of knowing him and seeing jazz performances in NY, and having drinks with him in several places, and he is a wonderful guy. I was wondering how he's doing and if he plans to do any more jazz shows in the US.
Just wanted to say thanks for such a great site. I've watched Law and Order for some time (in Spain and now here in Florida), mainly to see MM's portrayal of Ben Stone.
I've watched a couple of the newer episodes but didn't like it at all.
I'll continue to watch A&E for the "real" thing. :-)
Wow! I never knew Michael Moriarty had such a big fan club...so to speak. I never really knew too much about him until I started watching Law & Order. I immediately recognized the wonderful talent he possess and has been fascinated by him ever since. I was very disappointed when he left the show....although I realized he must've felt he needed to move on to other projects. However although I'm sure Sam Waterston is a talented actor as well, it has never been the same since Michael's departure, since then I have limited myself to watching just the reruns on A&E.
Would you know if he's currently working on other projects? I certainly would be interested in seeing him at work again. Thanks to your run down of his filmograghy I can seek out his past films and enjoy them. Thanks for creating this web site, keep up the good work....I have this place booked marked.
I've become a big Law & Order fan in the past 8 months and a huge Ben Stone fan in the past 2 months. (A&E reruns yahoo!) I was thinking of creating a "Ben Stone page" but I see you have beat me to it! Good work!
As a huge Michael Moriarty fan I was both awed and impressed by your sight. I was wondering if you have seen the interview that was taped and broadcast on the Bravo network?(Bravo, just in case, is a Canadian arts and style channel)
Well the bookmark is in place for many return visits. And I think all
Michael Moriarty fans everywhere owe you thanks.
Firstly, my compliments on your great home page.
Secondly, I am embarassed to ask this, but uh, do you know where I can
get a copy of Major Crime on video?
It's embarrassing because I live in Toronto where it was shot and aired
twice, but I didn't get to tape it.
Are the rumors of two sequels reliable?
Finally, has Mr. Moriarty given you any feedback or is he aware of your
great site?
I had the wonderful privilege of meeting this very talented and overlooked actor in April of 1995. How exciting!! He was so charming and not to mention good looking. I knew him then from "Holocaust" and a few "Law and Order" episodes, but let me tell you when I met him I became a life long fan.[snip, snip] He was so nice, not just to me but to everyone that came up to him. Anyway, I'm enjoying your home page and look forward to reading more about this exciting, friendly actor. Thanks alot!!
writing to let you know how much I enjoy your site on mm.
I´m am a Law and Order fan, from Brasil, and I would like to say
that Mr. Michael Moriarty is one of the greatest artists I have ever
seen. His work on Law and Order was pure genius. My friends and I miss
him very much. But we all look forward, and know his place has been taken
by another great actor, Mr. Sam Waterston.
I would like to let my thanks for this great site. My best wishes for all Law and Order and Michael Moriarty´s fans.
Thanks for a great page!
A great site about a great actor! Thank you!
BTW, your page is truly impressive.
Very interesting site on Michael Moriarty. I was amazed to find so many people besides me have such a "thing" about him.
Again, your Michael Moriarty page is great! I got there after searching for "Law and Order" references.
Ben Stone is quite a fascinating character. He is truly obsessed with
the quest for justice, but rarely lets his emotions get in the way of
professionalism. Very different from McCoy!
From a fan in France: I visit the site about Michaël Moriarty. Bravo !
I am really a fan of him.
One remark : The writer Georges Simenon is not french but is born in Liège (like me) in Belgium.
I'm a news reporter in Halifax N.S., and just finished a very light hearted interview with Michael. He's a hell of a nice guy!
Great page, but any Moriarty page with his history has to remind everyone of his studies with the famed acting teacher Stella Adler (my great-great-aunt).
Along with him, Marlon Brando, Robert DeNiro, Harvey Keitel, and others went through her school. Credentials such as these sparkle any web page.
